On today’s episode, I speak with Coach Micah Lowe from the Purdue University Northwest Flag Football program in Hammond, Indiana. We discuss how he is building a brand-new program through local recruiting, club connections, camps, and social media while identifying athletes from both flag football and other sports. Coach also shares what he looks for in recruits, why player development and confidence are at the center of his coaching philosophy, and how Purdue Northwest supports student-athletes both academically and professionally. Lastly, we talk about the advantages of earning a Purdue degree, the opportunities that come with being just outside Chicago, and his vision for the future of one of college flag football’s newest programs.
