Hey, everybody. It’s Matt Baehr with Discover College Flag. So this is a brand new podcast, uh, I’m excited to launch. Um, some of you may know or you may not if you’re just into flag football, but I also have a podcast called Discover College Soccer that I started about four years ago. Um, and I started that with the whole idea of a podcast where players’ parents could hear directly from the coach, learn about how they recruit, what their school is like.
Uh, it was a great opportunity for, for folks to learn about schools they maybe had never even heard of. Uh, but also a good chance for those schools to, to get their name out, uh, so the, so the kids would be aware, um, but specifically to, to learn straight from the horse’s mouth. No, no crazy, uh, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook posts about how recruiting really happens.
Uh, you can hear directly from the coaches, uh, so that will help you along your recruiting journey. Um, and now with, with, uh, [00:01:00] girls flag football jumping on the scene, new, new programs being added daily it seems like, uh, I thought it would be a great time to kinda do the same thing for, for flag football.
Um, so I’m excited to kick this off. Um, hopefully, uh, four years down the road we’ll have four hundred episodes of, of this podcast as well. Um, but if there is anybody out there who is a College Flag coach, uh, that wants to come on, please just reach out, would love to have you. Um, any players, parents, if there’s folks you, you want to get to, to hear from on the pod, please text them, email them, DM them, whatever it takes and say, “Hey, get with Matt.
